After 9 years, you would think there would be a lull in the excitement, the anticipation would wane, but not for one of the most anticipated post-game party events of the year. We are proud to present the 9th Annual Back to The Yard event.

If you’ve never been there come experience the official “Alumni” event that only continues to grow. If you came but couldn’t get in, we encourage early arrival. Come feel the excitement and reunite with friends and family and groove to the sounds of yesterday and today.

What makes the event so special, it’s because we went to GSU and PVU, so we know exactly what you want – cause we were there then and we’re still here now!

And this year we’re proud to present the event that has taken Dallas by storm – THE BROWN SUGAR SUITE. The creators of the event that were the first to bring acts like The Foreign Exchange, Marsha Ambrosius and Rahsaan Patterson, are bringing their Prairie View A&M family and partners and creators of Houston’s own SOULCIAL SERIES, to get back to their roots with a special DJ driven event that promises to cater to all music lovers old school, new school, true school hip-hop and neo-soul alike by Prairie View’s own DJ CRUISE and KING MC!

Grambling St. you know we haven’t forgotten about you! Grambling State’s own and featured DJ of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show… DJ PHIL (www.DJPhilOnline.com) will be blazing all the hits you remember, forgot and want to hear.
